Our welcoming and inclusive client secondary school in Tameside are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career in education and want to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support students in lessons across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions and small group support.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
  • Provide pastoral support and help maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.


Requirements:


  • A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are advantageous).
  • A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
