EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a General Machine Operative to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester working on a permanent basis.

The business is a leading specialist in manufacturing complex, safety-critical components for a number of high profile markets.

Due to continued success and further growth, our client requires additional support within their machining department.

We have multiple opportunities available supporting various machining processes such as CNC, Forging, Grinding, Thread Rollers, Laboratory Machines, Broaching Machines and Manual Machining.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience within a manufacturing and engineering environment

*

Experience of working in a similar role such as; Machine Operator, CNC Machinist, Assembler, Deburrer, Grinder, etc

*

Confidence reading technical drawings and interpreting drawings / SOPs

*

Worked with various materials including; aluminium, steel, castings, cast iron etc

*

Ability to manually measure parts using conventional and dimensional equipment - shadowgraphs, verniers, micrometres etc
