Role Overview 

The Front of House Manager leads the Reception team to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest journey from arrival to departure. This role ensures that every interaction reflects the warmth, professionalism, and standards of the House, while fostering collaboration across all departments to enhance the overall guest experience. 

Guest Experience & Service Excellence 

At the heart of the role is a passion for delivering a flawless guest experience. You’ll ensure every guest receives a genuine, memorable welcome and that all front-of-house operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will empower your team to confidently identify opportunities to enhance each stay. You’ll take ownership of guest feedback and analyse trends, and work with colleagues to drive continual improvement. You will also work collaboratively with other departments, such as events and F&B.
In the event of complaints or issues, you will handle them swiftly and professionally, ensuring every resolution strengthens guest loyalty. 

 Team Leadership & Development 

You will inspire, guide, and develop a high-performing Reception team who consistently deliver outstanding service. By fostering a supportive, engaged, and motivated team culture, you will help create a workplace where people take pride in their contribution and strive to exceed guest expectations. 

Skills & Experience

 • Proven experience in a high-end hotel setting.

 • Strong leadership and people development skills. 

• Exceptional guest service orientation with a passion for creating memorable experiences. 

• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. 

• Proficient in rota management and systems such as Harri and PMS/CRM platforms. 

• Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
