The Role:

You’ll be preparing and performing First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in support of Manufacturing. You’ll review our current manufacturing schedules in order to plan and prioritise First Article Inspection activities. You’ll analyse the manufacturing data packs to understand the associated processes to apply to First Article Inspection activities in support of Validation Plans.

In addition, you’ll create and deliver First Article Inspection reports by witnessing the operations and processes being conducted in manufacturing, and population of data within the relevant company system. You’ll also compile FAI metrics to inform manufacturing management for use in management reviews.

About You:

You’ll have proven experience on delivering First Article Inspection in line with customer requirements and in accordance with AS9102. You’ll ideally possess a minimum of a time-served apprenticeship in addition to relevant experience in FAI. You’ll be able to understand internal and external customer requirements in addition to regulatory and certification requirements. We are looking for someone with the capability to identify business improvements and the passion to ensure they are effectively implemented.
