About the Role:

Are you an experienced Surface Treatment Technician/Anodiser/Plater looking to advance your career? You will be responsible for the masking, bead blasting, and surface preparation of small, precisely manufactured components.

Location / Hours:

You will be based near Gerrards Cross, accessible by car or close public transport links, with free parking available.

Hours: Week One 6am - 2pm and Week Two 1:45pm - 10pm (£31-33,000 per annum including shift allowance).
Overtime: Available daily and is paid at time and a half.Candidates from a surface treatment background (plating, anodising, jigging, etc) are urged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
Prepare metallic surfaces for further processing, including anodising and passivation.
Mask components to ensure critical features are protected.
Operate anodising finishing equipment, both manual and automated.
Prepare components for finishing processes (e.g., bunging, masking, jigging).
Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Pack parts for internal transport and storage.
Interpret part numbers, drawing issue numbers, process specifications, and finishes.
Utilize basic measuring equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understand health and safety and COSHH regulations related to hazardous substances.
Have a basic manufacturing/engineering background.Application Process:
