Production Operative – Finishing

Marlow based 5 days pw

Copello are working with a defence client who are looking for a Production Operative to specialise in finishing. The overall work is to manufacture aerospace antennas and associated products in accordance with supplied design data and drawing and provide flexible resource to manufacturing to enable the achievement of cost, quality and delivery targets

Key responsibilities

* To produce products in accordance with supplied design data and process specifications

* Set up finishing equipment at the beginning of each job according to specifications provided on the job ticket

* Recognize when the output of the operation drifts from specification

* Troubleshoot equipment problems and make adjustments as required to return output to the approved specification

* Update and sign-off on job tickets at the conclusion of each job

* Support all coating and finishing activities within the work cell

* Handle hazardous material and hazardous waste, adhesive compounding and quality assurance testing procedures

* Inspect and ensure that the product meets current specifications

* Generate and maintain accurate production information

* Participate in manufacturing team problem solving sessions

* Complete required training to meet Department goals and objectives

* Experience within a Finishing environment
