We are looking for a Family Help School and Community Practitioner to join our dedicated team in East Riding of Yorkshire Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with schools, colleges, and community partners to support children and families at key transition points and help prevent needs from escalating.

About the Role

As a School and Community Practitioner, you will be the key link between early help and education settings, providing advice, guidance, and support to families and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Support schools to deliver the Family Help offer and promote positive engagement. Champion the voice of the child and promote trauma informed practice.

This is a frontline role where your ability to build relationships, navigate complex needs, and empower families will be key to achieving positive outcomes.

We are seeking someone who:

Has experience working with children, young people, and families to deliver preventative interventions. Can lead and coordinate multi agency support and assessments.
