We are currently recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an engineering company, predominately doing shot-blasting, on a permanent basis in the Medway area. You must have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment. If you have previous fettling experience, that is advantageous.

Your main duties will include:

* Processing of parts as instructed
* Shot blasting of castings
* Manual Handling
* Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
* Completing the relevant job cards
* Occasional etching of castings using a vibro-etching tool
* Occasional operation of the band saw.

You will be working 48 hours per week, 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday and overtime is paid at an enhanced rate if required.

Previous factory/manufacturing experience would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be provided.
