A large Primary School in the Lancaster LA1 area are currently looking to hire a full time, experienced EYFS Teacher to join an energetic team, starting in January 2026. This opportunity is based in a ‘GOOD’ Lancaster primary school, who need a dedicated teacher who will help create a structured and measurable learning environment. The right candidate will have experience with teaching in the EYFS and have a well-rounded knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

This ‘GOOD’ rated primary school has had great feedback for their EYFS department, who have been committed to making the curriculum ‘broad and balanced’ for all the pupils. This primary school is committed to creating a safe environment for all pupils and have range of cultures and languages spoken in class and by parents. Due to a high percentage of SEN pupils at this school any experience with special educational needs would be beneficial for this role.  

What we are looking for:


  • Recent and relevant experience as a EYFS Teacher is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience with SEN would be beneficial
  • Ability to speak more than one language would be beneficial but not a requirement.
  • A compassionate and understanding attitude
  • Dedicated to raising attainment across the EYFS department  
  • Based in Lancaster or can reliably commute
