Job Description:
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an EOS Propulsion Business Manager to join our team in Stevenage, England.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:The successful candidate will be subject to SC (Security Check) in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.
TRAVEL REQUIRED:Occasional travel

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Highlight and analyse discrepancies and propose actions to optimize financial and operational performance.
- Collaborate and challenge your business partners from all directorates (e.g., Project Organization, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Sales and other Finance departments).
- Support key change decisions in the project (business cases, rate adaptation, major modifications etc.).
- Manage the financial aspects of the project contracts including cash, risk and opportunity management. During bid phases, you will be in charge of all financial aspects in contractual amendments and the acquisition of additional orders while meeting the required profitability targets.
- Management accounts of Contractual change notes (CCN) and Estimate at Completions (EAC)
- Management reporting
ABOUT YOU – Your Skills
- Familiar with all aspects of the project life cycle from design to production, including programme control, risk management, cost control and with strong experience of customer negotiation
- Knowledge of the design drivers and production processes associated with the design of spacecraft products is highly advantageous although not mandatory
- Strong communication and presentation skills and an appreciation of the development processes for safety critical applications
- Project controlling experience or a transferable financial background
- Strong Financial /Accounting experience is desirable
- SAP experience beneficial
- Large / Matrix / transnational organisation experience
