Job Description:

Must Have Skills:

  • Minimum years of experience: 8-10 years
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5, ENOVIA, PDM Optegra, Datalink
  • Aerospace structure design
  • A220 wing design process
  • Expertise on Bombardier / Airbus methods & standards
  • Engineering change implementation (Modsum, NIEOs, DTC and PCR)
  • Airbus training certificate necessary for designer access

  • Value Addition & Value Engineering
  • Knowledge on different ATA chapters in Aircraft
  • Expertise in handling CAD data in PDM/VPM tools
  • Expert on sheet metal parts design, System / Structure installation, development, and manufacturing
  • Knowledge on composite parts design

The scope of the project is to support design activities as listed below:

  • The project shall be primarily executed from client location in Belfast, NI.
  • Understand requirements, create, and review designs, validate the deliverables, and ensure high levels of service offerings to customer
  • Contribute to necessary project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform reviews
  • Collaborate (onsite and offshore) with multidisciplinary teams (Design, Stress, ME, Project management, Quality, Etc.) to derive and manage activities, estimation, and schedule.
  • Implement appropriate design data management practices as per client requirements
  • Ensuring that projects meet quality standards
  • Qualification : Bachelors / masters in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
