Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor electron beam welding machines to perform precise, high-quality welds on various metals and super alloys within a cleanroom environment.
Inspect and prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, aligning components, and conducting visual and mechanical inspections of welded joints.
Identify and resolve issues with the electron beam welding equipment, performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure welding specifications are met and the process integrates smoothly with manufacturing.
Follow all safety procedures for working with high-voltage equipment and hazardous materials, including the safe handling of acids for weld sample evaluation.Requirements
Essential

Excellent working knowledge of cleanroom assembly and integration activities.
Strong understanding of and proven experience with electron beam welding processes.
Proficient in using measuring equipment for quality control and interpreting engineering drawings.
Good troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety.Desirable

Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to evaluate welds.
