Electrical Project Engineer – Midlands – £55k–£60k + Car/Allowance + Benefits

We’re assembling a brand-new engineering team for AMP 8 – and this is your opportunity to play a leading role from day one.

This role offers the chance to deliver exciting, high-value electrical projects within one of the UK’s largest water frameworks. With schemes ranging from £250k to £8M, you’ll be hands-on in delivering the infrastructure of the future – all while building a career with huge scope for progression.

What you’ll be doing as Project Engineer:

  • Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests at supplier premises and producing detailed compliance reports.

  • Managing electrical project scopes during pricing stages and coordinating with subcontractors.

  • Delivering telemetry upgrades to ensure future connectivity for major water networks.

  • Supervising mobile engineers delivering LV electrical works, telemetry systems, and instrumentation.

  • Overseeing accurate and complete project documentation, O&M manuals, and completion records.

  • Monitoring project progress and reporting to the M&E Project Manager.

    What you’ll need to be a successful Project Engineer:

  • Experience in the water industry (highly desirable).

  • HNC/HND or degree in engineering.

  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety.

  • Electrical engineering background.

  • Experience in a Project Engineer role or similar

  • Full UK driving licence.
