Synergy Mission Control Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Commissioning Manager to support our expanding portfolio of Data centre & Infrastructure projects. With projects across the South Coast and London, this permanent role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work with a forward-thinking team delivering high-performance electrical systems across cutting-edge environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead Commissioning Activities: Plan, execute, and oversee the commissioning of electrical systems including LV and MV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and power monitoring systems. All delivered within the L1-L5 ASHRAE (where applicable) Commissioning framework as per Data Centre industry standards.

System Validation: Perform functional testing, calibration, and performance verification of electrical installations to ensure compliance with design intent, safety regulations, and operational standards.

Troubleshooting & Resolution: Identify issues during commissioning and collaborate with engineers and contractors to implement timely and effective solutions.

Documentation & Handover: Produce detailed commissioning reports, maintain test records, and support client handover with clear performance data and compliance documentation.

Client Liaison: Act as the commissioning point of contact for clients, providing updates and technical insights throughout the process.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in electrical commissioning for commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, and power monitoring.

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • An emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance across the project.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Data centre experience is a plus, but not essential.
