A specialist sub contract precision engineering company based in Leominster are looking for an experienced EDM Wire Eroder to join their friendly team. The company supply complex high precision engineered components to a variety of industries across the UK including Motor Sport, Medical, Aerospace and Military. This is a great opportunity for the right engineer to join a great engineering company.

The Role - EDM Wire Eroder
The company are looking for an experienced EDM wire eroder to work within a very demanding but rewarding environment.

Duties - EDM Wire Eroder

  • Machining a range of metals into precision components for high end aerospace, defence and medical applications

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical diagrams

  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment at all times.

  • Providing feedback to team leaders and shop floor staff to highlight any technical issues or potential risks.

  • Help drive technology and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.

    Requirements - EDM Wire Eroder

  • Ideally experienced working on Sodick machines, but training will be provided.

  • Leadership skills are desirable

  • Good verbal & written communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Flexible approach to workload and business requirements

  • Works well in a team environment

  • The ability to work under pressure

  • From an engineering background

    Hours of Work - EDM Wire Eroder
    Normal Days, Early finish on Fridays

    Salary and Benefits -
    £23.00 - £26.00 per hour
    Pension scheme
    Regular overtime.
    25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
