Job Description

ALTEN Ltd is seeking a highly skilledECSS Quality Inspectorto support our growing projects in the Space sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on commercial programs ensuring quality standards are met for critical components. You will play a vital role in maintaining production excellence and validating documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections onPrinted Circuit Boards (PCBs)containing up to 4,000 components.
• Verify thermal coatings, cabling, mass, flatness, bolt presence, and other manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct quality checks on production manufacturing processes.
• Validate documentation and manage NCR (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Utilize tools such asSAP, SAP ME, and Windchillfor data export and analysis.

Requirements:

• Accreditation from ESA Training School or equivalent (in-house re-approval can be provided).
• Certification in one of the following standards:
  • ECSS-Q-ST-70-08
  • ECSS-Q-ST-70-28
  • ECSS-Q-ST-70-38
  • ECSS-Q-ST-70-61 (latest version preferred).
• Familiarity with quality activities in production manufacturing.
• Proficiency inSAP, SAP ME, and Windchillsoftware.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict quality standard

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• A degree inElectrical Engineering,Electronics Engineering,Aerospace Engineering,Quality Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, orPhysics.

• Must be eligible to achieve Security Clearance.
