Overview of therole

Engineering is forefront todevelopment of our national infrastructures. Engineering graduateswill be exposed to every aspect of the engineering lifecycle acrossthree highly regulated industries. The successful candidates willhave the required drive and acumen to push themselves and to thinklogically identifying new technology and process. Checking andfacilitating designs supporting calculations and technicaldocuments (inc. plans). They will have the ability to translate aclients requirements into a meaningful engineering and technicalsolution. Good communication skills and the ability to work as partof a closeknit team maintaining company values isessential.

Keyresponsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with client specifications andengineering standards and local domain policy andprocedures.
  • Understandthe technical quality of complex fitforpurpose engineeringsystems.
  • Understand lifecycle and maturitymanagement.
  • Generate and update technicaldocumentation to the clients specification.
  • Maintain compliance with engineering standards andapplicable legislation.
  • Participate in Designand System Level Reviews. Ensure that subsequent design meets theproject and client requirements.
  • Ensure theconfidentiality and security of data and information received fromclients isupheld.

DesiredQualifications / Prerequisites:

  • Qualified to degree level in an appropriate STEMdiscipline.
  • Creative problemsolving andtroubleshooting skills
  • Excellent criticalthinking skills and a high level of numeracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong teamworking skills with an ability to motivateothers and to lead or manage teams and projects
  • Flexibility and an ability to compromise
  • A willingness to accept responsibility and makedecisions
