Driver’s Mate – East Kilbride

Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for ongoing work)


We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known furniture company in East Kilbride for a Driver’s Mate to join their delivery team.


About the Role:


As a Driver’s Mate, you’ll assist the delivery driver with the safe and efficient delivery of furniture items to customers’ homes. This is a hands-on, physical role that involves heavy lifting and excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


Assisting with loading and unloading furniture items.




Supporting the driver with delivery routes and schedules.




Ensuring all items are handled carefully and delivered safely.




Providing friendly, professional service to customers.




Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.


What We’re Looking For:


Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.




Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.




Good communication and teamwork skills.




Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
