Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and proactiveDocument Controllerto join our facilities team in Manchester. The Document Controller will report directly to the Planning Manager and is responsible for performing a variety of analytical, clerical, and decision-making functions that are necessary to assure the smooth running of maintenance inputs and proper day-to-day operations of the business. The role will be based at our Manchester base. There may also be a requirement for domestic travel to fulfil key business objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and Quality Checking of completed job cards within Base Maintenance. Quality Checking of completed Line Maintenance job cards.
  • Closing of completed job cards within Base Maintenance Work Packages (paper and electronically).
  • Scanning of Job Cards from both Base and Line Maintenance back to customer and into STS Job Files.
  • Monitors complete and incomplete job cards within Work Packages for reporting / Quality Checking purposes.
  • Performs general clerical duties, to include setting up files and entering and collecting computerized data.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word
  • Well organised and disciplined.
  • Calm and professional under pressure
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Effective communicator both verbal and written.
  • Supports others to achieve individual and company objectives.
  • Promotes company values.
  • Willing to work a Shift System
