  Director of Manufacturing Candidate profile:
  
  
• Ambitious - wanting to take that step from being an employee to being a business owner and have an equity stake in a highly profitable £28m t/o R&D focused engineering & manufacturing business
  
  
• Must have some experience of mechanical precision component manufacturing (any regulated industry is fine – aero, automotive, rail, oil & gas, nuclear etc.)
  
  
• You could be a Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager looking to make the next step in your career
  
  
• Alternatively you could be a more experienced Production Director, Manufacturing Director or Operations Director or possibly a Plant Manager
  
  
• Data driven & good with IT. The Exec team are very IT driven and analytical; utilising IT systems to make things efficient and accurate is important
  
  
• Collaborative – the business and people are friendly and committed. You will be a Manufacturing Director who engages in a nice way to lead the team (you will likely be a really good coach and lead in a collaborative manner)
  
  
• Strategic but then we want to see examples of taking ownership and driving performance not just reporting. An ability to ‘cut through noise to key points and focus on execution
