Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Digital Surface Modeller - £39/hr (Inside IR35) Warwickshire (Hybrid potential) 10 Months (Potential for yearly renewal)

Job Description:

  • Ability to interpret sketches into digital models
  • Experience working as a Digital Surface Designer in the creative phases
  • Experience working in an Automotive Design Studio.
  • Strong experience in: Alias (NURBs and SUB-D), Photoshop and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Design processes within a Design studio environment
  • Good PC skills

    Experience/Qualifications Required:
  • Precise interpretation of 2D ideation, creating digital models that capture the design feel while aligning with engineering constraints
  • Creation of high-quality digital models that meet quality standards and adhere to surface theory best practices
  • Quick virtual iteration of designs and rapid development of diverse concepts for digital evaluation
  • Ability to replicate scan data retaining the design feel and minimal deviation
  • When working always adhere to Creators Code behaviours
  • Support all design disciplines whilst maintaining a flexible, pro-active approach, with focus on achieving programmes gateways deliverables on time with the correct level of data
  • Support discussions at all levels throughout design, across all disciplines, to deliver the required digital models
  • Maintaining program documentation for traceability and sustainability in line with team processes
  • Support digital Design Reviews presenting quality, realistic digitally rendered models to empower clients in making decisions virtually
  • Sharing knowledge to enhance the team's skills through Surface Reviews
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures

    Desirable:
    Experience in: VRED, Unreal, Maya, Blender
    Knowledge of other digital surface development and visualisation software

    Additional information:
    This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
