Overview

Expleo has an opportunity for an experienced aerospace structures design engineer to support a local OEM customer on a development project, on a Hybrid basis at their Belfast premises. The role will involve being responsible for formulating technical solutions for a range of tasks ensuring that design standards and customer requirements are met within your design.

Responsibilities

Development of Catia V5 structural design detailing
Support to DMMs & ongoing IPDT meetings held via Teams calls
Storage of files in Windchill database
Implement technical solutions to ensure they are compliant with all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements, within agreed program, schedule, and manufacturing constraints.
Perform all activities at a level of minimal supervision and guide other engineers within the work-package as required.

Essential skills

Experience with working with stakeholders, lead engineers, chief engineers and project managers.
CAD Catia V5 R29
MS Office
Good Communication
Knowledge of aerospace structural design standards and processes.
Experience in creating and delivering detail drawings

Previous Windchill experience would be beneficial
