A permanent job vacancy has become available for a Deburrer to join the Finishing team on a permanent basis as the business prepares for growth over the coming years.

The Company
The company has been supplying specialist precision engineered products to a variety of industries for many years from our modern facility on the outskirts of Witney, which is easily commutable from Witney itself, Burford, Carterton, Eynsham, Standlake, Long Hanborough, Thrupp and surrounding areas.

In current times of uncertainty we have continued to go from strength to strength. Our long established business has an impressive list of loyal customers from across the UK and we are now looking to take on a new employee to join as a Deburrer in the small Finishing department to continue to manage the increasing demand as the company continues to grow.

The job - Deburrer
In this Deburrer role you will be based in a modern, clean and tidy workshop environment where you will be involved in deburring projects, finishing high value products for prestige customers. The components you will be working on will go on to truly make a huge difference in this world.

Location Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary We're looking to pay a very good hourly rate (please do get in touch to find out more!) and we're very happy to listen to see how we can meet your requirements too.
Hours 07:00 to 15:30, and Fridays 07:00 to 12:30
Contract Type Permanent

About you
Experience of deburring and finishing of CNC machined component parts in a precision engineering environment such as aerospace, oil & gas, automotive or similar would be a real advantage for this job although we would certainly consider your application if you have gained similar skills in another field or perhaps you have a long term hobby in jewellery making or model making - we would be interested to hear from you too.
 
You will be familiar with or capable of using hand held tools such as a scrapers, files and small hand held power tools or cutters to deburr and finish machined component parts according to engineering drawings.
 
Working closely with Machine Operators and Inspection Staff, you’ll be checking your work throughout the deburring process too so you’ll need to be familiar with or capable of using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and depth gauges.
