About the Job

As a key member of the customer service team you will support with logistics of outgoing products and customer relationships. Specifically, you will coordinate non-UK transportation and ensure timely deliveries, while maintaining accurate despatch information and providing customer updates. Additionally, you’ll manage order workflows, transport planning, and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Follow workflow of an order and knowing the relevant colleague to ask regarding status
  • Provide customer updates on order status
  • Understanding the process of fulfilling an order
  • Ensure customer orders contain relevant information
  • Maintain pricing information on the IT system for customers
  • Understand the order book and production scheduling systems
  • Ensure data is consisten across IT systems
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge and skill to support the team
  • Daily order book review
  • Update and check daily reports
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Transport planning relevant to Sales Order Requirement, via Freight agent/Carrier Portals
  • Manage Orderbook demand – consolidate loads where possible
  • Generate Delivery Documentation and Invoicing
  • Maintain Compliance documentation for Audit purpose
  • Undertake external training courses periodically
  • Cross training to support colleagues with the team

This role is full-time (37-40hour) fixed term contract for 18-24month

You will be based at our Weobley site with some opportunity for flexible and remote working.

Candidate Profile

  • Understanding of Export process and procedures
  • Experience with Audit and compliance
  • Experience with SAP planning system is desirable
  • Previous use of Tariff classification would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Confident telephone manner
