Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch aconstellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will providelow-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved andunderserved communities around the world. Key job responsibilitiesWe are looking for a talented lawyer to join the Amazon Legal teamsupporting Project Kuiper. You will be embedded with the Kuipercommercial business development and sales team and support businessleaders on strategic partnerships and enterprise customer deals,with a focus on deals in APAC countries. You will structure, draft,and negotiate a range of agreements. The successful candidate willdevelop strategies for handling legal issues in creative,business-centric ways and build processes that address risk andallow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly. We arelooking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoysbeing continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment evenin ambiguous situations. Some travel, domestic and international,will be required. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1. A qualified lawyer withat least 5 years of post-qualification legal experience 2. 2+ yearsproviding transactional legal support 3. Strong written and oralcommunication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Experience of amix of corporate law firm and in-house work 2. Demonstrates soundjudgment even in ambiguous situations 3.
