Job Title:             CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator

Location:             Thetford                            

Hours:                 MON - THURS 8:00AM - 5PM

                           FRI 8:00AM - 1PM

Pay Rate:             Up to £34,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner Programmer for our client just outside of Thetford. 

Over the years our client has developed many long-standing working relationships over a large geographical area. Now in its fifth decade, the company continues to be a trusted and dependable supplier to a wide variety of industries which includes Automation, Automotive, Electronics, Food, Home Furnishings, Pharmaceutical, and Satellite Communications.

What’s the job?

• Experienced CNC Turner
• You’ll be machining anything from large volume batch work to one off prototypes
• Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Able to work as a team player and using own initiative
• Excellent awareness of health and safety aspects at work

Machinery:

• Daewoo Puma 230M with Live Tooling
• Daewoo Puma 20000SY with Live Tooling
• Nakamura-Tome TMC 30

Who can do this?

• Must be able to program own work
• Experience with Live tooling is advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Suitable Industry recognised qualifications in CNC programming, setting and operating AND/OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar engineering environment at a comparable level
