Prime Appointments are currently working with a prestigious manufacturing company in Chelmsford, who specialise in CNC machined components for the Aerospace and Defence industries.

They are currently seeking skilled CNC Turners to join their expanding team on either a day or night shift!

With increased demand, they are looking to strengthen both shifts with experienced CNC Machinists who can program, set, and operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc, Mazatrol or Siemens controls.

What You'll Do

Programme, set, and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Select tooling and optimise machine setups for one-off and small batch production.
Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure efficient operation.
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and follow health and safety standards.About You

Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
Skilled in programming and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
