Overview

EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Nottingham that is currently in the market for a CNC Turner to join their company on a Permanent basis.

This market-leading company is a long-established and highly respected name within the precision engineering sector, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality components for the Aerospace, Energy/Oil & Gas, and Industrial industries.

Key Benefits on offer:

  • Stability / Longevity: Permanent

  • Hourly Rate: Circa £15 - £18 per hour

  • Hours:

    • Double days - 6-2 Mon to Thur, 6-1 Fri / 2-10 Mon to Thur, 1-8 on Fri (37.5 hour week)

  • Benefits:

    • Shift allowance on Afternoons - 10% uplift

    • Overtime is available at premium rates

      Your responsibilities include:

  • Setting, operating, and editing CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls

  • Machining small to medium-sized, complex components using materials such as plastic

  • Working from Engineering drawings

  • Working on multiple setups per day to produce components for various precision engineering sectors

    Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Turner

  • Confident working with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls

  • Experience setting, operating,a nd editing multi-axis CNC machines

  • Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas, etc

  • Previous experience machining plastics is desirable, or previously machined metals

  • Experience with machining to tight tolerances
