An excellent opportunity for an Experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established company based in Rickmansworth, Herts.Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm.Salary: Up to £45k (negotiable & depending on experience) Overtime paid at time and a half.About the Company:We were first established as a Limited company in 1977, specializing in precision Grinding – and quickly became a leading specialist in the field. We offer ‘The Complete Package’ by manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies complete to a wide range of customers in sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Motorsport (including Formula 1), Food/Scientific and Medical to name a few.Due to the expansion of our CNC Turning Department, we are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis.Duties will include:Programming, Setting and Operating Mazak CNC Lathes.Candidate Requirements: * Minimum 4 years CNC Turning experience of programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes. * Ideally experienced with using Mazak machines / Mazatrol controls but not essential as training can be provided. * A very good understanding of engineering drawings. * Ability and knowledge of machining a range of materials to tight tolerances. * Able to use various types of measuring equipment. * Ability to work with the minimum of supervision. * Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment is preferred.Private medical care available.If you feel that you have the relevant skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now!The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
