dhBorders Recruitment is on the lookout for two experienced CNC Engineers to join a busy, well-established engineering firm in Coldstream. If you’re confident on the shop floor and know your way around CNC machines, this could be a great fit.


On the Tools

Running CNC machines – Fanuc controls (Doosan lathes, Haas mills, Star GB)


Making parts – both custom and standard, with tight tolerances
Tweaking programs and tooling – to keep things running smoothly and efficiently
Looking after your kit – checking oil, coolant, and keeping machines in good shape
Quality checks – making sure parts are spot on and paperwork’s done right
Helping out – supporting newer team members and keeping the workspace tidy and safe

 What You’ll Need

Solid hands-on experience with CNC machines (Fanuc controls)


Able to read engineering drawings and get the job done right
Good eye for detail and pride in your work
Self-motivated and able to hit production targets

Bonus if you’ve got:

Apprenticeship background


Experience with offline programming or CAD/CAM
