Company Overview:

Join a well-established precision engineering company specialising in high-quality components for industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical. Due to continued growth and project demand, we are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our weekend team.

Key Responsibilities:



Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls

*

Creating and modifying CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidCAM, EdgeCAM, etc.)

*

Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

*

Producing one-offs, small batches, or prototype components to tight tolerances

*

Carrying out quality checks and first-off inspections

*

Performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines

*

Working independently during weekend hours with minimal supervision

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a CNC Miller with strong programming skills on Heidenhain controls

*

Proficient in CAD/CAM programming (any mainstream platform)

*

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

*

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

*

Capable of working independently and managing time effectively

*

Flexible to work weekend shift patterns
