NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Programmer to a join a well established engineering manufacturer.

Our client is a family run Precision Engineering company established in 1967. They are one of the leaders in Sub Contract Precision Machining for a wide variety of Industry Sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Electronic, Scientific and Motorsport Industries.
Our client are a forward-thinking modern Manufacturing Facility that operate a lights out unmanned business model and continually reinvestment in the latest machinery & automation technologies.

Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm (Mon to Thurs) 8:00am to 1:00pm (Fri)
Overtime available: Available @ Time & Half

You will be required to use Openmind / Hypermill to programme and help set their 9 x Matsuura 4 & 5 Axis Multi Pallet Machining Centres and Large Capacity 3 Axis Doosan VMC. If you have other CAD/CAM experience we are happy to arrange training on the Open Mind Hypermill platform for you.

Experience on Matsuura machines is preferred but not essential as training would be given. All our machines use Fanuc controls.

Candidate Responsibilities / Requirements :

· Have good knowledge of reading Drawings and GD&T
· Have a good knowledge of machining a variety of materials.
· Experience working to own initiative
· Punctual & Conscientious
· Flexibility and have a good team work ethic.
· Carry out regular bench dimensional & visual checks
· Ensure parts are properly De-burred and finished to a high aesthetic standard
· Maintain a clean & safe workspace
· Willing to learn and adapt within this role
· Good knowledge of Fanuc Controls
· Good Knowledge of Openmind Hypermill and-or other CAM software packages is advantageous, but full training would be given.
