Monday-Friday - 39 hours per week-Early finish Friday.

The company:

Based in Essex or Egham, you will be joining a well-known aviation manufacturing company.
Due to continuous expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced CNC Miller with ideally Programming, Setting & Operating experience to join and be part of their manufacturing workshop team.

The successful candidate will be able to programme, set & operate with some programming experience using CNC Mills, setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling, programming online via Fanuc controls.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Programming multi-axis (3,4 &5 axis) machines online using Fanuc and/or Sinumerik controls.
Offline programming using EDGECAM
Tooling selection, setter and operation of machinery.
Working to precise engineering drawings
Involved in producing small batch work and one-offs.
Working to health and safety proceduresThis is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment-Aerospace-is desirable.
Experience of Programming & Setting CMC mills using Fanuc controls
Experience with Multi-axis machinery, (3 & 4 axis, 5 axis desirable)
CAD/CAM Offline programming in EDGECAM is desirable.
Ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
Ability to work using Metric and Imperial
