Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator or Setter/Operator

Shift: Days

Rate: £16 - £17.50 for Setter Operator and £18 - £21.50 for Programmer

The Job

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines, specifically Fanuc controls.
  
  
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce precision components.
  
  
• Proving out programs (if a programmer), fault finding, and optimizing performance.
  
  
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of machined parts through self-inspection.
  
  
• Tool setting & offset adjustments
  
  Requirements
  
  
• Experienced in the setting and operating of CNC milling machines
  
  
• General high standard of engineering ability
  
  
• Experience in aerospace component manufacture is beneficial but not essential
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• Strong communication skills.
  
  
• Commitment to quality and safety.
  
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
