Job Title: Mill Turn / Turning CNC Machinist
Location: Northampton
Hours: Days

The Opportunity:
EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Mill Turn / Turning CNC Machinist to join a well-established and innovative precision engineering company located in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality components and further develop your engineering expertise within a supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of a state of the art Mill Turn machine

  • Generate programs (mill turn/turning), run/adjust them and set up tooling

  • Create programs using both online and offline CAD CAM software

  • Produce and inspect "first off" parts against drawings, ensuring output meets quality standards

  • Meet production schedules and perform routine machine maintenance

    About You:

    Whether you an experienced CNC Machinist or a CAD CAM Programmer, we want to hear from you! This role has the scope to offer training on CAD CAM software for someone with CNC experience, the chance to further develop your skills and work in a rewarding environment. Salary offered if based upon skills and experience.

    Essential Requirements:

  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK.

  • Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

  • Ability to commute to Northampton, reside within a commutable distance or are considering relocation to this area.

    This position requires the successful candidate to undergo UK security clearance. To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the above essential requirements. Please note that due to the security clearance requirements, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.

    Skills Required:

  • Strong CNC machining background within precision engineering

  • Mill Turn / Turn Mill / Turning machining skills

  • Ability to set / operate / edit CNC Machines

  • Experience working with Fanuc control panels
