CNC Machinist / Setter / Programmer / Turner / Miller / Operatorrequired for a manufacturer of highly technical measurement equipment used in the industrial sectors such as precision engineering, electronics, medical, automotive and aerospace.


The CNC Machinist / Setter / Programmer / Turner / Miller / Operator will be experienced using either Mazak, Siemens or Fanuc Controls and be able to program, operate and set these machines. You will work with various metal components and metals such as aluminium, steel and brass and machine parts to a high-quality standard.


The CNC Machinist / Setter / Programmer / Turner / Miller / Operator will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and live within a commutable distance to the machine shop based near Woking, Surrey.


Package:

  • Up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 7.30am to 16.00pm
  • Pension Scheme
  • 24 days holiday + Bank holidays
  • Optional Overtime

  • Life Insurance
  • Commutable to the machine shop based near Woking, Surrey


Responsibilities:

  • Using Mazak, Siemens or Fanuc Controls you will be responsible for programming, setting and machining parts to a high-quality standard
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings while working with a variety of metals, including aluminium, steel, and brass
  • Produce high-precision parts accurately on the first attempt
  • Ensure all production targets are achieved
  • Report to the Machine Shop Manager
  • Machine shop based near Woking, Surrey


Requirements:

  • Prior experience using either Mazak, Siemens or Fanuc Controls
  • Prior experience as a CNC Machinist / Setter / Programmer / Turner / Miller / Operator
  • Live within a commutable distance to the machine shop based near Woking, Surrey
