Shorterm Group is working closely with a renowned aerospace engineering firm in Wolverhampton to recruit experienced CNC Machinists for permanent roles.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team, working on cutting-edge aerospace components in a clean, high-tech environment.

🔧 CNC Machinist - Mill-Turn or Multi-Axis Milling
📍 Location: Wolverhampton
🕒 Hours: 37-hour week
Monday-Thursday: 07:30-16:15
Friday: 07:30-11:30
📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
💼 Sector: Aerospace Engineering

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Set, operate, and maintain CNC machinery (Mill-Turn or Multi-Axis Milling - e.g., Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, Puma)
  • Produce precision components to tight aerospace tolerances
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to enhance machining processes
  • Carry out in-process and final part inspections, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards
  • Complete all required documentation to support traceability and quality assurance

    ✅ Ideal Candidate:
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Proven background in precision manufacturing (aerospace highly desirable)
  • Skilled in tooling selection, complex setups, and inspection techniques
  • High attention to detail, quality-focused, and process-driven
  • Experience with mill-turn machines preferred; strong multi-axis milling backgrounds also welcome
