Role Overview

The Cleaning operator position, reporting to the Facilities Manager, stands as a vital new role within our Facilities Team.

The Cleaning operator will oversee the cleaning operations within our Head Office facility, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In the absence of the Cleaning Supervisor, this role also includes responsibilities related to site security, including leading the site security close-down process.

The ideal candidate:

We are seeking a Cleaning operator who is dedicated and detail-oriented. While previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment is preferred, it is not required, as we are open to training motivated individuals new to the field. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Reliability is crucial, so we are looking for someone who is punctual, dependable and has a strong work ethic. Flexibility is also essential, as the role requires the ability to work part-time hours, including early mornings or evenings, as needed. Lastly, the candidate should be a team player, willing to work collaboratively with other team members and support various cleaning tasks as required. Key Accountabilities:

As a Cleaning Operator at ETL Systems, you will be crucial in maintaining our modern and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and offices. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas are kept clean and dust-free, which is essential for maintaining the high quality of our products.  Keeping our environment spotless, you help us uphold our commitment to excellence and provide a safe, welcoming space for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will directly contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Ensure all areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces, are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities manager.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Desirables: 

While no specific skills, experience, or qualifications are essential for the Cleaning Operative role at ETL Systems, the following attributes are desirable:

Previous Experience: Experience in a commercial cleaning environment is beneficial but not required.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas.
Reliability: Punctuality and dependability, with a strong work ethic.
Flexibility: Ability to work part-time hours, including early mornings or evenings, as needed.
Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with other team members and support various cleaning tasks as required.
