About the Role


Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing local work with a respected employer?

We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for bin collection routes in Clitheroe, working as part of a small, friendly team. This is an immediate start opportunity offering steady, long-term work with potential to go permanent for the right driver.


You’ll be responsible for collections around the local area, assisting the crew with loading when the vehicle is stationary. The role is physical at times, so a good level of fitness is essential — but in return, you’ll enjoy consistent hours, good pay, and a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned collection routes.


Working closely with your crew to ensure all collections are completed safely and efficiently.
Assisting with handballing bins when the vehicle is stationary.
Maintaining professionalism and care when operating around residential areas.
Completing all required paperwork and checks accurately.

What You’ll Need

Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence


CPC Card and Digital Tacho Card
Previous experience in a similar bin collection, refuse, or local delivery role preferred
Physical ability to lift and handle bins safely
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
