🚚 HGV Class 1 Steel Delivery Driver – Flatbed – Accrington 🚚

Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for ongoing, reliable work in the Accrington area?


Driver Hire Blackburn is recruiting for a skilled and safety-conscious driver to join one of our respected clients, delivering lengths of steel on a flatbed trailer.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a supportive, well-established agency.

🔧 Job Details – Class 1 Flatbed Driver (Steel Deliveries):

Operating a Class 1 (C+E) flatbed HGV.


Bulk deliveries of steel lengths, some with overhanging loads.
Strapping and securing the load to meet safety standards.
Day shifts, Monday to Friday – no nights out.
Working with a friendly, professional team.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card.


Proven experience with steel loads or similar – confident with strapping.
Good geographical knowledge.
A strong focus on driver safety and load security.
Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused.

đź’· Pay & Benefits:

ÂŁ14.00 per hour PAYE.


Overtime paid at time and a half.
Weekly pay through Driver Hire Blackburn.
Ongoing contract with regular hours.
Full support from a dedicated, local team.
