This role is based within our Defence business, supporting the development of advanced propulsion technologies for next-generation military air systems.

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity, you will get a chance to:
Lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes, ensuring alignment to technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
Act as a delegate for the Chief Engineer, providing governance and oversight across all engineering activities.
Drive systems engineering excellence and lead multidisciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle.
Influence the future of combat air systems through direct involvement in one of the UK's most advanced defence initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
Have a strong background in engineering leadership, with experience delivering complex programmes across the full lifecycle.
Demonstrate excellent systems thinking and the ability to manage technical requirements, risks, and interfaces.
Possess proven programme management skills, including cost, quality, and schedule control.
Be confident communicating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external partners.
Hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience) and be working towards or hold professional registration.
