An exciting opportunity has opened with my client for a full-time Cargo Charter Broker based in Crawley.

Role: Cargo Charter Broker
Salary: Upon Application (Salary + Commission)
Location: Crawley

Responsibilities:

Proactively generate and manage a pipeline of qualified sales leads through cold/warm outreach, networking, client visits (UK & abroad), and CRM/database management.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, airlines, and suppliers to identify new business opportunities and foster repeat business.
Oversee the full cycle of Air Cargo services (Charter, Airfreight, Onboard Courier), including quoting, booking, pre-flight arrangements, documentation, and post-flight closeouts.
Ensure all operations run smoothly by monitoring flight progress, resolving issues, and maintaining timely communication with clients.
Review and manage contractual documentation (e.g. insurance, AOC, risk clauses) with support and training provided.
Contribute to team growth by supporting junior brokers and assisting colleagues with guidance, training, and knowledge sharing.
Represent the company at meetings, events, and on-site globally as required.
Carry out additional duties and special projects as assigned by management, in line with company procedures and standards.Experience & Qualifications
All Candidates must hold the rights to work and live in the UK.

3 years of similar experience is essential.
A passion for aviation is essential.
Self-motivated and happy to work with a high degree of autonomy.
Calm disposition and positive outlook, particularly when working under pressure.
Tenacious and willing to keep trying in challenging situations.
Flexibility to change and adapt working hours and patterns if necessary, which may include weekends and evenings as necessitated by the needs of the business.
Strong communication skills (written and oral), and excellent telephone manners.
Team player who appreciates the value of co-operation within a local office and international teams. Good Integration / interaction with other team members.
Adapts and responds well to feedback and change.
Second language is desirable, but not essential.Benefits:
