Skills required for the CAD Layout Engineer

As the CAD Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for providing reliable microelectronics product and circuit design expertise as well as enhancing and optimising existing products.

Responsibilities include

• Producing PCBA and thick film hybrid circuits designs.
  
  
• Handling design changes and obsolescence issues
  
  
• Engaging in cost saving and continuous improvement activities
  
  
• Proven experience in electronics design and circuit layout
  
  
• Strong background in electronics.
  
  Desirable skills for the CAD Layout Engineer
  
  
• Working knowledge of Cadence / Pantheon / AutoCAD
  
  
• Understanding of thick film technologies
