Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Laser focused

  • Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer ready to push the boundaries of advanced CNC and laser machining?

    EMBS Engineering has been tasked to identify an ambitious, capable engineer who is experienced in Manufacturing / Production Engineering within precision machining.
    Due to the companies expansion, they are looking to add to their already talented team and identify a Manufacturing Engineer who is interested in working specifically within their Laser machining department.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manufacturing Manager in driving production excellence

  • Create robust, offline programs for CNC, Laser and EDM machines

  • Design and develop tooling, jigs, fixtures, and press tools

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across processes and productivity

    What We’re Looking For?

    You might already be a Manufacturing, Production, or CAD CAM Engineer, or an Offline Programmer looking to step into a role with variety and challenge.

    Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience with CNC, Laser or EDM programming

  • Strong CAD CAM experience

  • Knowledge of tooling/fixturing design

  • Background in precision engineering sectors (Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, Defence etc.)

  • A desire to learn, adapt, and take on new technologies

    Laser-specific experience is not required — our client is willing to train the right person!

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK

  • Able to commute to the South Birmingham / Redditch area

  • Must be eligible to undergo UK Security Clearance (we cannot offer visa sponsorship)

  • Willing to complete a DBS check if required
