iRecruit4 are hiring for Cable Assemblers, working for our client in Fairford. Our client are an engineering and manufacturing facility providing advanced technologies for core industries, including Health care, Aerospace and Automation.

  Job Duties for the Cable Assemblers:
  
• Independently assemble cables, harnesses and other products on time and to company standard.
  
• Crimping and Soldering.
  
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings/ specifications.
  
• Recording details of assembly both on internal CRM system and on paper documents.
  
• Quality Checking parts against drawings to make sure they match and that there are no discrepancies.
  
• Work flexibly, supporting other team members when asked.
  
• Develop your skills by completing online and classroom-based training and work towards the internationally recognised certification, IPC620.
  Requirements for the Cable Assemblers:
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  
• Previous experience in soldering and crimping.
  
• Experience working with a heat gun and heat shrink sleeve.
  
• Fantastic manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts with care.
  
• Access to own transport due to clients location, public transport is unavailable.
  
• Pre employment Alcohol and Drug testing.
  
• Ability to obtain baseline personnel security standard clearance.
  
• Previous experience in a similar industry.
  Additional Information for the Cable Assembler:
  
• Monday to Friday
  
• Fixed Day Shift
  
• £23,203 - £27,200.95 Dependant on experience.
