About the Role...

We are looking for aC# Software Developerto join Airbus Defence & Space, joining our Connected Intelligence group and reporting to our Head of Engineering.

You will create and assist in the development and maintenance of software systems and components related tosoftware development. As an experienced developer, you will mentor and support junior developers in your team. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for creative innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.

How will you contribute to the team…

  1. Responsible for designing and delivering mobile device applications and backend services in collaboration with the engineering team.
  2. Developing clean, readable, scalable and easily maintained code that meets requirements, adhering to the open-closed principle.
  3. Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enhance team velocity.
  4. Contribute to quality assurance by writing unit and functional tests.
  5. Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, scalability and maintainability guidelines.
  6. Work with the scrum team to meet the team sprint commitments using agile methodology.

About you…

Strong Object Oriented Programming skills in C# .NET. Familiarity with SQL Databases. C++ Programming Skills. Understanding of DevOps and associated tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
