Are you an experienced Senior/Lead Buyer who wants to develop and join a growing organisation? We are working with a well-respected aerospace manufacturer who due to growth, are looking for a Buyer Team Leader on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previously worked within the manufacturing industry and enjoy building strong relationships with suppliers.

Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm, Friday 7am – 12pm

Job Description

Effective day to day management of designated suppliers
Purchase a range of raw materials and components and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Lead monthly order book reviews with suppliers to identify performance improvements, supplier risks and mitigation plans.
Mentor and support 2 Buyers for their own professional development

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Well versed carrying out a similar buyer position
Accomplished purchasing a range of components and/or raw materials
Experienced working within the manufacturing industry
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
