Buyer - Capital Projects & Production Equipment

Location: Broughton | Contract Type: 12 Month Rolling | Hourly Rate: £29.89 PAYE or £40.00 Umbrella

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and project delivery? At Guidant Global, we're on the lookout for a proactive and commercially savvy Buyer to join our team and support high-impact capital expenditure projects in the aerospace sector.

What you'll be doing:

As a Buyer, you'll play a key role in sourcing cutting-edge production equipment and tooling for aircraft final assembly and component manufacturing lines. You'll lead the full procurement lifecycle - from tendering and contract negotiation to supplier performance management - ensuring we secure the best value while maintaining quality and compliance.

Your day-to-day will include:

Leading sourcing activities for major capital projects, focusing on new production means and equipment.
Managing end-to-end tendering and contract negotiations to secure optimal purchasing terms.
Overseeing supplier relationships and ensuring contract compliance across all project phases - from innovation to support.
Driving supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value and reduce total cost of ownership.What we're looking for:

We're after someone who's not just great with numbers and contracts, but also a confident communicator and team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll need:

Strong project leadership skills, especially in cross-functional settings with competing priorities.
Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
Solid understanding of procurement contracts and commercial terms.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
