Dynamics 365 F&SCM Functional Consultant
Hybrid - Harrow | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits

A leading global technology solutions provider is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&SCM Functional Consultant to join its growing Business Applications team. The role will support a global user base, taking ownership of Level 1 and Level 2 support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and partnering with vendors on deeper technical issues, releases, and deployments.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Salesforce, Data, and Web teams to ensure smooth integration and reporting across platforms - while continually improving end-user experience and system performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide day-to-day support for Dynamics 365 F&O, managing incidents, service requests, and user queries.

  • Escalate and coordinate with managed service partners for advanced issues (L3/L4).

  • Create and maintain internal knowledge base content and training materials.

  • Analyse incident trends, identify root causes, and recommend improvements to reduce ticket volumes.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver enhancements aligned with D365 best practices.

  • Participate in governance and change management processes (CAB).

What you'll need

  • Proven experience supporting Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX 2012) in a global environment.

  • Strong functional knowledge across multiple modules such as AP, AR, GL, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, or Fixed Assets.

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

  • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals (Incident, Problem, Change).

  • Ability to use Excel add-ins and basic SQL for data checks.

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability.

Nice to have

  • Background in Finance or Operations.

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, LCS, RSAT, or Power Platform tools.

  • Experience with ISVs in rental or leasing, and document or treasury automation tools.

  • Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps.
