We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) / Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join an innovative company in the high-reliability electronics industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a “hunter” mentality to drive business growth by identifying new customers, developing relationships, and creating business opportunities in the UK North/Ireland region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Discover and engage new customers and business opportunities in line with the company’s sales strategy.
  • Develop and execute plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the UK North/Ireland and Scandinavia.
  • Build long-term relationships with key international customers.
  • Manage and grow relationships with channel partners, driving geographic strategy for each territory.
  • Organize and manage client visits to company facilities.
  • Travel across the UK, Europe, and occasionally to the US to meet clients and attend events.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in business development within the Aerospace, Defence, or Space industries.
  • Knowledge of complex electronic systems (e.g., Hybrid technology, DCDC power supplies) is a plus.
  • Background in high-reliability markets with a good understanding of quality systems (e.g., AS9100).
  • Strong sales experience with both products and services.
  • Ability to travel within the UK, Europe, and occasionally the US.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in a similar role.
